Orpheus Heyward

Shihan Orpheus J. Heyward is the Chief Instructor of the Atlanta Way of the Winds location. He began his training with O' Sensei Ronald Duncan when he was 7 years of age. Shihan Heyward earned the rank of 6th Degree Black Belt and is noted for his speed and scientific approach to close quarter combative strategies. Shihan Heyward maintains the philosophical approach taught by O'Sensei Ronald Duncan, which is to train realistically in preparation for a real-life threatening situation.
